I guess the question is, can you get this Win 8 key from JB and just plain install Windows 10 without going through the upgrade 8 process to make the key recognised under Windows 10? Then technically, doesn't that mean it's no longer tied to your hardware? If you nuke your old PC or rather, never connect it to the internet again then install a new one, you're all good? I can't say for certain, but the Windows 7 Home Premium 3 Pack that I bought years ago had the same "Upgrade" graphic on the box, and I've done many clean installs without any issues.

So you cannot do a fresh install to Windows 10 using these upgrade edition's without having a full licensed key already? Perhaps I'm missing something but don't see the point in these unless your running Vista? This was posted 6 years 6 months 27 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal.
